It’s been four years since Miley Cyrus released a new album, and over the course of those four year the singer has done a lot of growing up. From being the poster child for marijuana to her on again off again relationship with Liam Hemsworth, and her obsession with sexuality and nudity, the Miley of today is much different than the Miley of yesterday. Which of course makes one wonder how her music has evolved as well.
The 24 year old Cyrus made the announced yesterday that her new album, Younger Now, will be released on September 29th. Other than that, she gave no other information as to what tracks one can expect on her sixth album, although there is a good chance that he latest singles Malibu and Inspired will be on it.
Younger Now will be Cyrus’ follow-up to her hit album Bangerz that came out in 2013. That album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 by selling over 270,000 copies. It eventually broke the one million mark several months later. The lead singles on the album were We Can’t Stop and Wreckingball.
While Cyrus’ new album isn’t due until next month, you will be able to see her perform at the VMAs on August 27th, along with The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony and Lorde.
