Opening its doors just in time to welcome celebrities like George Clooney to the Toronto International Film Festival 2017, Bisha Hotel is Toronto’s newest luxury hotel. Founded by nightclub and restaurant entrepreneur Charles Khabouth and Lifetime Development partners, this 44 storey hotel is located in downtown Toronto’s Entertainment District. It is steps away from iconic local attractions such as the CN Tower and Rogers Centre, as well as the nightlife of King Street West.

The hotel is said to showcase panoramic views of the Toronto skyline, with a 7,000-square-foot hotel rooftop which features an infinity pool, restaurant and bar. Guests are invited to lounge by day and party by night, with the dominant interior spaces designed by Studio Munge, which is said to radiate a chic and polished ambience. The concept of the hotel claims to be bold, as the main lobby is adorned with molted velvet walls, marble flooring, dim lighting and metallic accents. Adding a touch of abstraction, the 7th floor is exclusively designed by rock star Lenny Kravitz, who used music, art and travel as his sense of inspiration.

According to the Globe Mail, Khabouth refers to his most recent establishment as the “total lifestyle package”. The 54-year-old entrepreneur claims that he has always dreamed of expanding his brand to include Toronto’s metropolitan culture, with an approach that unites dining, lifestyle, entertainment and design. The Bisha Hotel is the latest development of Khabouth’s company INK Entertainment, which has now stepped into the hospitality industry.
